The Bangover: 3D

This project is being pursued by a group of three male porn enthusiasts who all have expericne directing, producing and editing pornographic film shorts.  We want to make our first full-length, active 3-D (like Pixar movies, not like Avatar, which is passive) feauture film:

We want to bring the 3D element that is currently so ubiquitous in cinema nowadays into the porn industry.  Blu-ray porn took off with Digital Playground's "Pirates," and we want to take that even a step further.  The idea behind the bangover is six people waking up naked in a living room, each trying to remember what happened the night before as they all flash back to their sexual encounters the night before. Each sex scene will be shot in active 3D, concluding of course with an all-out orgy.  There will be dicks, tits, squirters and much more...all in your face in 3D!

Rewards include invitations to the actual behind-the-scenes shooting of the film, free Blu-Ray 3D copies, and special thanks to (or Executive Producer credit) for the film itself.

The money will be going toward three things, primarily:

Talent

Location

Equipment

We obviously want this film to be epic, and fortunately there is a lot of great talent out there that is relatively cheap considering that is currently a plethora of individuals who who are currently trying to make it and porn, and have not been discovered yet.  We can always go the A-list route as well, but that will obviously be much more expensive.  Depending on our capital situation, we will budget the funds accordingly.  

The location is going to be somewhere outside Los Angeles in a large mansion.  Costs should not be that extensive (the script is already written and requires about 4-5 days to shoot...we will cut it down to about 90 minutes in post).  What will cost, however, is the equipment.  4-5 days of renting the proper 3D camera, gear and crew costs upwards of $50,000.  This is going to consist of roughly half of our budget - at least.

Please note, however, that NONE of the makers of this film are getting paid a dime on the front end.  We only want to make money if the film is profitable, as this has been a passion of ours for a great time now.  We are also putting up $50,000 ourselves to get this made - the right way.
