  • OffBeatr auto reward unlock system is closed

    I’ve taken down the link inside Fleshcult for automatically claiming OffBeatr rewards. Looking at the count of upgraded accounts, I’m pretty sure everybody has their OffBeatr rewards by now.

    If there’s anybody left who’s eligible for OffBeatr rewards but hasn’t received them, please let me know at jack@fleshcult.com with both your OffBeatr and Fleshcult accounts and I’ll sort it out.

  • Wanted to donate but missed your chance?

    Now you can donate outside of Offbeatr by logging into Fleshcult and going to Edit Account. The rewards available are Unlimited Turns and Unlimited Characters. All money collected will go toward improving the game.


  • Last day to fix up credit card payments that didn't go through

    Hey there, 37 of you haven't managed to pay your pledges yet. If you're one of the 37, you'll have received e-mail notification that the credit card payment failed (check your spam folder!). Otherwise, you can ignore this.

    There are only 24 hours left before the window to fix this closes. At that point OffBeatr will call the total final.

    I know some of you folks are having trouble with spurious anti-fraud checks at your bank. If at the end of the 24 hours you still can't get the credit…

About The Project

Fleshcult is a web-based RPG where you play as a succubus or incubus. You lurk on the margins of an unsuspecting city, seducing mortals into your underground lair. You're a shape-shifter, transforming your body and the bodies of your minions. Every body is blank canvas for bizarre transformations. Fleshcult is about desire mixed with revulsion, about a lust that's stronger than fear.

  • As you play the game, you opt into the fetishes that you want to see. You pick the kinks.
  • The gender of your partners is selectable, and transgender characters are supported.
  • Fleshcult is a game of seduction, so there's no split between the game and the sexy bits. The two are integrated.
  • Transformations have effects. Some enable new options during sex scenes, other alter your stats.
  • It brings together both random generation and scripting to give each play session a unique twist.

Why donate?

I want to add more transformations, more player abilities, more dialogue and more depth. I also want to commission professional writers and more illustrations. I want to raise the bar for erotic games, but I need your help.

You'll get pre-release access while I work on the game, without the time-limit of a trial account.

If you donate more than the minimum, you'll earn a vote in the survey to find out which fetishes the game will feature next.

Funding Goals

$6,000: Basic completion:

  • All placeholder text replaced.
  • 100 transformations with full body part descriptions.
  • 18 unique characters with descriptions, introduction text and a limited amount of dialogue.
  • Finalised background paintings.

Stretch Goals

$7,500: 20 more chance events.
$9,000: Tablets and phones get a user interface tailored to their capabilities. It'll still be web-based, but mobiles will get a special stylesheet that's pleasant to use on a smaller screen.
$12,000: Extra game depth: 6 extra player skills, 3 extra opponent skills.
$15,000: Group sex scenes.
$20,000: Locked.
$30,000: Locked.
$60,000: 3D rendered stills of your character with their transformations. Professionally modelled, textured and skinned. Not real-time, but from a cloud-based render farm for high quality results.



How long will development take?

If we make the bare minimum, 3-4 months. If we achieve lots of stretch goals, it could take a year owing to all the extra features.

Once development is complete, will the game be free?

Yup, free without a turn limit. Perhaps in years to come there might be a votation or fetish DLC packs, but if that happens I'll see to it that anyone who donates gets DLC for free.

Is there going to be an offline version?

I don't have any plans for that. I'm focussing on improving the web game.

I don't have a credit card. Is there some other way to pay?

Sorry, I'm only taking donations through OffBeatr and as far as I know OB only take credit cards. If people are going to donate, I want it to be part of my donation total and count towards the goal.

I pledged a donation! How long will it take for unlimited turns to be unlocked?

If you're waiting on unlimited turns or unlimited characters, you can get them by logging into Fleshcult and going to the Edit Account page and linking your OffBeatr account. It'll ask you for permission to look at your OffBeatr account, and then send you the results by e-mail.

Is my fetish going to be in the game?

That will depend on the fetish survey, but I can tell you which fetishes I've ruled out:

  • No rape or torture.
  • No watersports or scat.
  • No beastiality, necrophilia or underage sex.
  • No anthropomorphic animals (furries)

Most of those are there for legal reasons, except for furry content. I've thought about it and concluded that while I can hire writers to do fetishes that I'm not into, furry stuff is a never-ending commitment -- if I ever did one furry species, there would be an outcry for the rest of the animal kingdom. It'd need a whole game to itself and I'm not the man to make it.

Project Stages

Stage 1 - Voting

Voting is a preliminary stage in an OffBeatr campaign where you need to get a certain number of votes to show that it's worthwhile to accept pledges.

Stage 2 - Funding - 3 weeks (Current stage)

At this point you can pledge a donation that will be collected at the end of the 3 weeks. When you make your pledge, please put your game account e-mail address in the message box, so I can unlock the time limit and grant extra character slots.

Stage 3 - Production

If we make it over the $6K threshold, all the donations will be collected, and I start work adding stuff to the game. At this point I'll run the fetish vote and send people's eBook rewards. Production is likely to take at least 3 months, more if we achieve lots of stretch goals.


  • It'll work on any modern web browser: Internet Explorer 8 or higher, Firefox 4 or higher, Safari 4 or higher, and Chrome (any version).
  • If we hit $9K: iOS 5 or higher, and Android 2.2.
